Medicine and health sciences
Health sciences
Health sciences cover nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, midwifery, health management and health education. This page lists 869 programmes at 175 institutions.
There are two kinds of programme. Some lead to a state licence to practise, for example in nursing or midwifery, and include clinical placements. Others require completed vocational training, or prepare you for management, research or teaching.
These programmes are mainly offered by universities of applied sciences, both public and private. Besides full-time study, there are dual, work-compatible and distance options.
Medicine and dentistry form a separate subject area. Details come from the institutions' own websites, and the institution's page is authoritative.
